Beth challenges us to avoid things that would be pleasurable to the flesh and avoid over indulgence during the first half of the twelve week study.
We discussed as a group the following modern day struggles:
- Foul language
- Negative music
- Adults not being supportive of other children or negative influences in sports.
- Equality of man kind
- Not know what to do to help others
- Time

- Michelle and Jeff (Cindy's niece) lost a baby and had a miscarriage as they struggle to heal.

- Deb (Karla's friend) skin cancer
- Mike (Julie's friend) having cancer surgery
- Praise for Julie's sister who will be getting engaged
- Amanda, Julie's sister in law is having cysts removed
- Wrestling team as they enter the final season of the year.
- Janna Hanson's dad had a stroke
- Adam Carpenter and Keith DeLange as they join the consistory
- TEC -- Robin and Todd will be working as adults. Morgan will be the Rectora (leader) of the kitchen team.
