Please reread Luke 10:25-37 again. It is on Sunday’s blog.
We discussed some things in our bible study that prevent us from reaching out to our neighbors.
- They may reject us.
- They do not want to share their problems
- People want to keep their problems private
- I do not have the time
- I am too busy with my own life and my own family
- How can I trust others will value what I am giving them?
- They may not appreciate it.
- They brought it on themselves
- They keep making the same mistakes. I can not help them.
- I do not want to be associated with them
- It is not safe for me
- I may get hurt, physically or emotionally
